U.S.C.G. 100 Ton Master Captain John Aros, has been sailing since he was a young boy. Fascinated by the water John became a United States Navy Diver and went on to become a hyperbaric medical specialist and commercial diver. All the while sailing. Captain John for many years has engaged and continues to be involved in commercial vessels, private yacht deliveries and Sea of Cortez Catamaran Vacation Charters.
He is focused on teaching the ASA curriculum to his students above and beyond to prepare them to accomplish their life long dreams and goals of cruising the world with confidence and skills needed for success. Never forgetting to appreciate the beauty and wonders of the sea along the way.
Master Instructor Captain John continues to teach basic & advanced sailing courses 101,103,104,105,106,107,108,114,117.
