I grew up in Prince Rupert, spent most of my youth in the Sea Cadets and around commercial fishing for many years. At an early age I gained the respect and knowledge of the sea I still have today.
Went to Vancouver, BC on vacation and never left.
Early on when not working, I played competitive beach volleyball and coached at the collegiate level.
Once I fell in love with sailing, I purchased first boat a Newport 28, my favorite gal “Diana” who I’ve shared many great travels through our Gulf Islands. I’ve been fortunate and have sailed Mexico, Greece and Athens to Santorini.
I love outdoors activities when not sailing such as biking, roller blading, and playing tennis.
As a Sail Canada Instructor and a certified American Sailing Association Instructor my passion now is to teach sailing to others. I look forward to meeting you in La Paz and making the ASA courses not only an fantastic learning experience but a fantastic vacation in the Sea of Cortez the place Jacques Cousteau described passionately about in his many expeditions as an amazing body of water full of marine life.
