At GoBaja Sailing School we have a fleet of four sailboats available for sail training. Our boats are professionally maintained and ready to give you an excellent sailing experience. Beginning January 20, 2019, we will have a fifth boat available. Reservations available immediately:
Dufour 455 Oiseau des Iles
She will be ready January 20, 2019. Special features include an exterior sail locker, leaving more space available in the interior. Great pivot among other things. Hot water heater, cabin fans, freezer, oven, grill and microwave.
Catalina 38 Sloop
She is the principal vessel used for our liveaboard ASA 101 – 104 sailing course. She has radar, GPS, Depth Sounder, Wind Direction and Speed and a Galaxy Tab S chartplotter, She also has one head, a refrigerator/freezer and carries over 100 gallons of fresh water. She sleeps two in the V-Berth (the V-Berth is reserved for couples booking together), one in the Quarter Berth and one on the Settee across from the galley table. She has a large and comfortable cockpit that is used for classes and sailing, seating five comfortably. We also use the galley table for classes and testing.
Catalina 22 Sloop
Our latest addition to the fleet is a very cute little Catalina 22 sloop. She is the principal vessel used for our land-based ASA 101 – 103 sailing course. She sports a roller furling jib. She is very light and sails like a dream. She sports a tiller for steering and an outboard for propulsion. She is a daysailer, although she does have a nice V-Berth.
Morgan 41 Out Island Ketch
She is the largest boat in our fleet and our second choice for our live-aboard ASA 101 – 104 sailing course. She has a very large salon area, a large icebox and a small refrigerator. She has two heads with integral showers and a deck shower. She carries 200 gallons of fresh water. She has Wind Direction and Speed instruments, a Depth Sounder and a Galaxy Tab S chart plotter. She sleeps two in bunks in the bow and has a separate queen bed in the aft stateroom (reserved for couples booking together).
Cal 34 Sloop
She is the principal boat used for our two day ASA 104 sailing course. She has Radar, a Chart Plotter, Depth Sounder and Wind Direction and Speed instruments. She has one head and sleeps three; two in the V-Berth and one in the Quarter Berth. She is very fast and maneuverable. She sports a tiller for steering.

This Catamaran is constructed to accepted designer specifications and standards. 2 Diesel engines. Garmin wind, speed and depth gauge with single screen toggled readout mounted at helmsman’s control console. All lighting is based on an LED 12v system. The interior of this version consists of two forward cabins each with double beds, wash basin with H&C, lockers and cupboards, one aft double bed cabin on the starboard, right hand side with lockers and a Heads consisting of electric toilet, washbasin and shower in the port, left hand side aft cabin.
